I recently edited a Tok Pisin translation of these terms. Why weren't they accepted? They are obviously the transliterations of the English words, promotion, harassment and discrimination.
The question each translator may need to ask is who their readers are? How do we know if a Papua New Guinean with low English comprehension will understand the meaning of such transliterations? Based on the assumption that some readers will not understand these transliterations, we have to provide a translation and here are my suggestions.
Promotion - kisim bikpela posisen
Harassment - 1st Draft wokman o wokmeri i mekim pasin we i soim olsem em i laik slip wantaim narapela
2nd Draft wokman o wokmeri i mekim pasin i no stret long soim olsem em i aigris long narapela
Discrimination - daunim nem na bagarapim narapela
Of course you add or delete some words as you craft your translation to represent the idea in the source text.
